Every home leaks eventually. The question is what happens next when the company that built it is eight thousand miles away and the crew that installed it was hired locally.

What to ask

What does the written warranty cover when the home is installed in the U.S.?
Who decides whether a problem is a manufacturing defect or an installation issue?
How are replacement parts shipped, and who pays?
Is there anyone in the U.S. who can inspect a problem on your behalf?
