About Field House

Beautiful homes. Surprising prices. Serious unanswered questions.

“I started Field House with the same question many buyers have: how do you tell the difference between a compelling opportunity and a purchase you are not prepared to make?”

I’m Bill Eisner. Like a lot of people, I fell down the rabbit hole of prefab homes built overseas — expandable houses, capsule pods, timber kits — at factory prices that seemed almost too good. Some of them are genuinely impressive. Some need a much closer look. From a product page, it’s nearly impossible to tell which is which.

I’m not an engineer, and I won’t pretend to be. What I can do is ask manufacturers direct questions, read what they send back, and write down — in plain English — what’s documented, what’s missing and who is responsible for each step.

Field House is that homework, done in public. I’m here to find out what is real, what is missing and what deserves a closer look.

How we work

  1. 01

    Show the work.

Every fact is marked documented, claimed or unresolved. If we haven't seen it, we say so.

  2. 02

Factory price is not installed price.

Ever. We list what the number leaves out, every time.

  3. 03

    No borrowed authority.

No “Field House Approved” badge, no “U.S. compliant” without model-specific evidence, no “risk-free.”

  4. 04

    Disclose the money.

If a manufacturer pays us on a completed sale or hosts us for a visit, you'll know.

  5. 05

    Don't pretend to be bigger.

We're starting with a small library and growing it as the evidence arrives. No fake reviews, no inflated numbers.

How Field House makes money

Field House is a media, marketing and referral company. When we introduce a buyer to a manufacturer and that introduction leads to a completed sale, the manufacturer may pay us a referral fee or commission. That’s the business.

It never changes what we publish about a home, and it never costs you anything extra through us. We don’t sell homes, hold inventory or take deposits — the contract and payment are always between you and the manufacturer or provider.

Later, some manufacturers may host factory or model visits, or sponsor clearly labelled content. When they do, it’s disclosed where it appears. A hosted visit is access, not an endorsement.

Field House is a media, marketing and referral company. We are not the seller, importer, contractor, engineer, installer, permit expediter or warranty provider. Terms & disclosures
